Hello all!! Hope that all has been well. I wanted to reach out and tell you the state of things here and keep everyone informed. Just a heads up, I am going to make this same post in the other campaigns so that I can be sure everyone is covered :)

First: Slaughterville Director's Cut is moving along. We have a little more testing to do on the Villains, but we have sent the final numbers to the factory to get them ready to start printing.  I have also uploaded just about everything to the PnP folder except for those last villains, but there are plenty there to keep you occupied if you enjoy the printing, laminating, and cutting of the cards :)

Second: Gods of Metal has completed shipping and if anyone is interested in a copy that hasn't gotten one, it is available on  our eBay store. If you know anyone who wants a copy, that is the best place to send them. 

Third: And here is the big ask!! I need just a few more precious Citizens  to help me fund the new Slaughterville 48-page, full color graphic novel! This book will not only give you the story of John and Beth as this couple try to find Beth's lost sister in Slaughterville, but it will also come with promos for the game (more to unlock as we go along!). I wanted to show you some images from the book and the promos that you will be getting.

And now the promos that will come with every pledge!!

Final: I think I have the final lineup for Slaughterville 3 if you're interested in hearing it. This one will be a Villains ONLY expansion. No Locations. 1: Bee Man (because I gotta!!) 2: Vermes (Our tribute to Tremors) and 3: The Creeper! (I need to do a Jeeper's Creepers one). Granted, this may not be all. It depends on what we unlock. I have at least 5 more Villains fleshed out and ready to go. But, you may be asking, when? After the Director's Cut begins its long trip on the boat to the shipment centers, we will launch. Cool?

Pledge Manager and Other Stuff

Hello again all! I wanted to return today and let everyone know that we will be closing the pre-order store on October the 9th! This should give you enough time to grab any add-ons you may have missed and wanted. Speaking of add-ons, we just added the Gods of Metal game to the add-ons if you are interested in a copy. 

Also!! And this is really important, as we are nearing the time to send this game to production, I need those Characters and Allies. I don't want you to miss this so please send those in as soon as possible.

Finally, I hope you are all as excited as I am for the upcoming 48-page Slaughterville Graphic Novel! It will not only include the book, but also special promo cards for the game that will only be available with the book.

Hello all!

I wanted to stop in and let you know what's been happening since we last spoke. We have been crazy busy here! 

Slaughterville Director's Cut Progress:

The Locations and Characters are mostly done (see below for more info). What we're working on now is the Villains. We are testing the Serial Killer and that one feels just about done. The Slasher, Zombie Horde, and Contagion are printed out and ready for testing! The Slasher, being what she is, shouldn't take as long to test. We need to make sure that she feels deadly, stalky, and able to kill you in an instant. The Zombie Horde is going to be different...The Contagion is an interesting experience and I know you'll like it.

We hope you enjoyed these previews as much as we did making them!! As for the "almost" part for the Locations and Characters...Well, we are waiting on a few of the Ally and Character pledges to come in from you wonderful Citizens. We have had 2 of them (1 of each actually) and we enjoyed the process very much! They were created and approved and are ready to go. We still need the rest of them though. 

I am going to be submitting the final card count to the manufacturer in 3 weeks so we NEED to have those pictures in hand in the next 2 weeks so that we can get the cards designed and ready. 

That's where we stand. I hope that this gives you some insight into the things that have been happening and I look forward to hearing from you all!

Other Stuff!!

Here are a few of the other things that we have been working on/completing in the interim as they have come up!

First, we have the arrival of our game Gods of Metal! This is the 1-4 Player game of Metal and Destruction where you and up to 3 friends take on the persona of Heavy Metal band members as you stand on stage to craft the ultimate songs to stop the Overlords and their Demon minions! Once shipping is complete, we will have it up and available on our eBay store and as an add-on in BackerKit.

Lastly, we have been working on something that I have been wanting to do for a long time. I have always been a writer (as you may notice by these long posts) and I wanted to bring the world of Slaughterville to life. I wanted to tell you about the stories that happened in the town. For this, we have created the Slaughterville Graphic Novel! A 48-page experience that will take you deeper into the world of the game! We will be launching once the Director's Cut is at the printer and will have the link for you to check it out! It will come with not only the novel, but also exclusive promo cards for the game based on the characters and events in the book. We hope you like it and look forward to hearing from you.

Pledge Manager Information

Hello Citizens!

I wanted to reach out today and talk to you about the Pledge Manager! It is something that I have been working on since we ended and it has finally been approved. We will, once again, be using BackerKit because they have been great with us and very intuitive. I am able to do everything I need to do so that you can be helped through this shipping process. 

Now, I am ready to hit this magical button called the "Smoke Test" which sends out a survey to 5% of you Citizens to test to see if everything is working well. From there, we would go to fully sending out all surveys.  So, a few of you will be getting a survey today, which is awesome! And then once we get responses for those, I will be sending out the surveys to everyone else. 

We still plan to ship in February and I am already talking to the freight company and telling them to reserve the boat!! As for my EU/UK friends, the packages will have the IOSS number. I am working with a great partner in the UK to handle all of this. I have my VATS application being taken care of and all is smooth sailing. Sadly, governments being what they are, the process takes time, but it isn't something I am worried about.

Finally, we have been testing Jack the Ripper and he needs a few more sessions before he's done, but I have also been working on The Serial Killer!!

I also plan on making the videos for the Carnival and Horseman this week! Once I have them completed, I will upload them to the  Laughing Rogue YT Channel.

In the meantime, remind your local gaming groups that we are taking pre-orders for the Director's Cut and we still have some Slaughterville 2 remaining in stock. Gods of Metal should be in stock in early September and we also have a couple copies of The Cult left! So we are turning into quite the library of games :)

Speaking of libraries, we at Laughing Rogue are proud to announce that coming soon will be the first 48-page graphic novel set in the Slaughterville mythos! Each volume will focus on one or two Villains and take you on a journey of fun and horror. We will be offering promos for the game as well :)
